Single drivers just don't work, you are trying to give them too much work to do and the compromises are too large. Well I was the lucky buyer who picked up the 'doc modded' Allisons from James --- a real bargain @ £250 ------ unfortuantely there was some damage in transit, mostly to the plasticoat and surface chips - although one corner was quite badly knocked --- being so heavy a massive amount of packaging is ...

V sorry to hear this George --- I lost my mum in June this year, she was only 76 and full of life we thought .... diagnosed with lung cancer but all very operable, she went into hospital and developed a rare strain of pneumonia - was placed into an induced coma after a few days and never came back -...

Harbeths are over priced and over rated imho ...... can't see how can compare the Quads with them - but I did ask ! .... it prob wont happen anyway -- but i wont be buying harbeths either ...... the MAD were better to my ears and we compared side by side ....... not really looking just had an offer ...
