Shane's NVA A20/P20

Unread post by southall-1998 »

''Serious'' HI-FI listening has never really been my cup of tea. But then again, having some high frequency loss in my hearing, I'm not bloody surprised!

I can get some more highs back, if I cup my hands behind my ears

I also enjoy listening to my favourite tunes in the background, usually coming out from a decent system at good medium volume levels. Whilst I'm doing household tasks etc.

I shall look forward to receiving the A20/P20 combo!

DSJR, please let me know once you have completed the build. No rush!

Thanks, Richard

EDIT: I'm going to ask my local GP to refer me to an audiologist. The GP looked inside my ears and no severe wax. Plus, he said my ear drums looks ok.

Hi Shane, Sorry to hear about yer dodgy Lugs, It cant be very nice.
But instead of cupping yer hands behind them, perhaps you could consider these
bad boys.........

..........Now whilst I wouldn't recommend wearing them outside, they shoud be fine for doing chores around the house.

Didn't stereophile magazine used to include something called ''ear extenders'' back in the 90's? They push your ears out. You basically wear them like headphones.
