There have been various attempts to make speakers that excited a panel such as glass before. I'm not sure how well these will work as the steel looks a bit thick but who knows, it might be the next big thing!!selby wrote:Just saw these on Kickstarter:

I don't find them particularly attractive so they would have to offer something quite special soundwise to get me to buy them. Anyway, I don't do desktop speakers. I have 900mm high boxes either side of the Mac!!

I bought a 9 x 9 x 2 inch pair of DLS wall speakers (below) for my spare room, and I kid you not they sound a lot bigger than they are & bring a grin to my face.
ps if you look close enough you will notice the ports on top edge...!!!

I still think you have to go a long way to beat steel lined JPW minis and they fit on a desk as well.

Yes....wtf is it with wimmen and new shoes - I could buy a replacement stylus for my GR1042 mm for the price of her latest pair.
