Because a coffee table is completely open so you can see all the shite tucked down the back.

Zebbo - Jammy wouldn't, he would have his leads trained properly. So a rack is for hiding what people have done badly.

To be fair, I simply wouldn't get all my gear - Turntable + PSU + P90sa + A60 + A80x2 + Phono 2 + PSUx2 + Blu-Ray/universal player + Sky box, on one table top. If I weren't in the lounge I wouldn't have a rack but I am so I do.

I would love to buy it. But I have no money leftzebbo wrote:There's probably about £40 worth of timber in that, it's a bloody steal.
I would prefer three legs though.
Did you say you knew a guy who could build one Doc?

Re: Now this is what I call a rack
I hate racks with a vengeance, as I have had too many cables broken and amps blown up by people yanking around in them trying to do things where there is no room. So why the feck would I want to help you to build one.

Really coming to the conclusion that one of the biggest problems with owning a good hi-fi is having a wife. Or as Jammy would say not putting her in her place
They won't let you have proper big speakers, got to be thin crap, have to use a rack and cramp everything up. It is like a conspiracy to turn you to knitting or something as a hobby
