JPW ML-110i
Amazing sound for 20-35 quid. Whoever designed the ML-110i must have had good ears!!
Sure, they do have their flaws, but I forgive them.
Shane is left feeling impressed tonight.

Back on topic...
Does anyone know who designed the ML-110 speakers?

Re: JPW ML-110i
Amazing, the ML-110i were originally under £60 when new back in the late 90's. They give you a good amount of accuracy and direct musicality for not much money.
I find the ML-110i just slightly more ''mature'' sounding compared their older Mini Monitor cousins (To my ears anyway)
Well, thanks to whoever designed these fantastic bookshelf speakers.

Re: JPW ML-110i
Was it Peter Comeau (again)?
There were some very talented speaker designers around in the UK twenty years ago, who knew more than enough to tweak established inexpensive drive units/crossovers to suit the manufacturer's need. Robin Marshall may be one of the better known designers, along with Mr Comeau, but there were others beavering away behind the scenes.

Re: JPW ML-110i
Well JPW ML110s are used on my test system, though I normally use only one for sound check as mono helps me hear things on each channel separately.
They cost me £15 and the CD player I use for test is a cheap gem as well Eclipse CD101 which cost me all of £20. They tell me all I need to know and they definitely play music.
