Sandra van Nieuwland 'Wonderland' (2022)

Fifth album from a unique talent that has somehow missed the 'big break' but still carves her own path in a determined way.

Sandra van Nieuwland was the obvious winning candidate from 'The Voice of Holland' in 2012, during the show's run she had 3 singles simultaneously in the top 5 (including nr. 1) and every week her performance was eagerly anticipated. Until she got eliminated in the semi-final - a case of 'Underdog-voting' as many people, expecting her to win, voted for someone else.

She has a strange quality to her voice that reminds me of Adele, and an ability to create totally original versions of well-known songs.
Anyway, here are a couple of her amazing performances from The Voice.
