Re: WAF friendly
Its easy to take the piss, but the likes of us arent the target audience.
We are happy to have a pair of monoliths in the room, and a dozen nondescript black/silver boxes that do various things.
We are a minority, the target audience just want a relatively good looking and simple to set up thing to connect a phone to and listen to spotify.
Nowt wrong with that

Re: WAF friendly
Are they dancing bear speakers?
Where people are not amazed because the bear dances well. They are amazed because it dances at all.

These are my favourite looking Tannoys https://www.stereophile.com/content/tan ... terbury-gr
or if they're too rich for your blood you could always get the copies https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001138 ... hweb201603_
If I had the money I would love to give the copies a try.

I don't like the look of Tannoy speakers and I don't know why. I refuse to have any interest in them purely because so many people like them and I don't want to be part of a popular fan club.
You fill yer boots though . Do you have a room big enough ?

Re: WAF friendly
I have two pairs of Tannoy speakers, one wall mounted in the front bedroom and one stand mounted in the main bedroom. They aren't dual concentric. The do the job well two relatively small rooms, I am sure they wouldn't be everybody's choice but to write off a company's products without hearing them... Yes, I do that sometimes but usually on the grounds of price either too low or too high.karatestu wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 7:54 amHello Dave, you are my wife nowantonio66 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 09, 2020 3:37 amThese are my favourite looking Tannoys https://www.stereophile.com/content/tan ... terbury-gr

Re: WAF friendly
Hi Geoff I'm just a bit bizarre with things like that. The Tannoy DC love ins on other forums make me want to puke. Same with cars. The DC's are the ultimate in point & squirt and I have discovered that omni or semi omni is what I like.
Just call me odd but if a brand is popular I tend to go for something else (as long as it does what I want and is reliable).
