I remain seriously impressed by what the XXL Masterclock is doing. Detail, imaging, sharp focus, wide soundstage, bass-definition.

What I don't know is how cable-reliant it is. But the AQ Carbon is a superb match.

I'm using Wireworld Starlight 7 in and out of the Oehlbach, which also seems to work well.

@Fretless. I can see your AQ Carbon is exiting the Masteclock but what cable are you using on the input side?

Input cable from the Tinkerboard is an Inakustik Excellence USB which is a very nice cable at about 40 euro for a 1m length.
Probably comparable to AQ Forest in terms of quality. Inakustik USB cables have a slightly less warm / more neutral character than similarly-priced AQ models.
Although, the main thing here is a reasonably accurate data-stream feed to the XXL Masterclock which completely re-generates the USB signal and re-clocks it. The DAC is then only interested in what it receives from the Masterclock.
So, the input cable to the reclocking device can be of lesser quality than the output cable - but don't skimp too much as the accuracy of the reclocked data is dependent on the completeness of the input signal

Bearing in mind, my reclocker will be mainly used into my 2nd system, external hard drive from laptop, Topping D30, TPA3116 amp and JBL Control 1 Pro's I will be using my existing Maplin 5m usb lead and yesterday I purchased .5m Lindy usb cable. I really didn't want to go over the top with expensive cables on this 2nd system. I did have Inakustik, Oehlback, Supra and QED cables on my watch list though.
