you don't want to go the de-ionized route.
This has to go through an ion exchange column.
There will be organic/inorganic contaminants which leave residue on the record as the water evaporates.
Also de-ionized water more expensive than distilled (as are flocculated or reverse osmosis waters also.)

If necessary, I use warm water and the same stuff as for the dishes. Had no problems with that solution until now.

Depends on your cleaning method. If you air dry then I would use distilled, if you vacuum clean then the water plus contaminants should be sucked off.
