IE 10 - I get the message "this page can't be displayed"
It took me about a week to work out that Firefox loads up fine - no idea whether this is related to other problems.

IE10 is not supported on a lot of the internet - time to upgrade that.

fair enough - I have noticed that Firefox is a lot more responsive so will stick with it (I also don't have to put up with MSN "news" as soon as I load up!).

Still having to refresh my browser up to 10 times to load pages!!

First time I've had a problem, and the board is hanging for me now on both Chrome and Firefox.

Yes I have chrome installed and it works ok but I have always used Safari, all my bookmarks are here and it works absolutely fine on everything else. Actually that's not 100% correct as it does the same thing on the Diverse Vinyl site. The mystery is that it has only been doing it recently, it used to be fine.
