Post upgrade issues
There was an issue which prevented users viewing or posting. I think I've now sorted this.
There are differences in the look and feel of the new software. The bulletin board code is very different.
As I said previously, you will need to reset your national flag (or get nagged about it ).
Any other issues here please. (other than not being able to login or post!).

Re: Post upgrade issues
Here are a few.
The new website is designed to work on mobile and well as PC browsers. Because of this, the website defaults to being narrower than you may be used to. There's now a new widget when you log in which allows you to set a width to suit you. Up near the top of the screen, next to Quick links, you will see a little eye symbol and Width. Click on this and you will be taken to a settings screen where you will define the width. It may take a little trial and error to get it right. I have a 22 inch monitor and 1600 is about right for me.
There is a gap at the top of the screen where a the default logo has been blanked out. Something that needs fiddling with - any offers for an HFS Logo?

Re: Post upgrade issues
Some posts are not coming up on the latest news part of the pages only on the unaswered part. For example my post at 7.39pm in Elsewhere has not shown at all on the news section.
For example this post isn't, it is making the Portal page very confusing.

Yes. Again that's not something that came up in any testing that I've done. It does appear eventually, but after several attempts. I think it may be a caching issue. I've raised a query with the hosting provider.

Re: Post upgrade issues
Definitely a caching issue. I've just deleted the web cache and all of a sudden the portal updated. There's also an effect that if you browse the portal not logged in and then you log in the portal changes (goes back).

Re: Post upgrade issues
According to the Portal page you are no longer an Admin Terry - have you resigned in frustration - There should be big smiley here but we have lost those as well and now they have suddenly appeared again but only when you edit a post.
