We have about a hundred living in the wood behind us and they use our feeders. As I said a couple of posts ago we have had up to 6 on the feeders at once.

Well you will definitely hear them. Morning and evening chorus, they have to wake up and go to sleep with having an argument with the neighbours. Then they take off during the day chasing each other and screeching, noisy buggers.

Lovey Dovey came back today after being missing for two days, looking fluffed and pecked around the neck, it looks like a feral male has been giving her a good shagging. Huh! if she is pregnant she will be shown the door I am not helping look after a bunch of half breeds, FFS I shoot ferals. Anyway there are no other show doves or release doves around so it must be a feral rock dove as they are the only ones she can mate with.
