A Happy New Year for all at HFS. :occasion-xmas:

Be healthy, happy and surrounded with love and great music.

:romance-grouphug:

Personally things for me can only get better as I'm now fighting off a heavy case of pneumonia caused by the recent Corona infection.

:occasion-partyblower:

Rock on 2024. :music-headbanger:

Sorry to hear that, mate. Plenty of fluids, hot tea (avoid caffeine and booze) and soup, and hot honey and lemon sometimes helps,

You actually do NEED to rest, it's not just an excuse to be lazy.

Research, online, how to cough "properly" if you don't already know. It helps.

Jeanette used to suffer regularly (because of her heart condition) from pneumonia and pleurisy, so watch out for that too. Last piece of unasked-for advice, ask your doc if they think a nebuliser might help. Probably not, or they'd already have you on one, but it's worth asking the question.

I hope you're feeling better soon.

Thanks Slinger.

Doing the fluids, tea, vitamin C thing. Staying as warm and immobile as possible.

No alcohol (doesn't attract me anyway at the moment).

Not my first time - spotted the symptoms and went straight to the doctor for antibiotics.

Have a good one, everyone.

Fret - definitely look up coughing technique.

In the meantime, I'll have a Laphroaig for you, but only one - I'm up at 7 in the morning.

Happy New Year . All the best to you all. I have given myself the rest of the week off work. No farming to do and the other work I have to do can wait. Its gonna start passing it down again soon so more puddles and floods to look forward to.

I hope you get over the pneumonia soon Fret. It's a real bummer, not had it myself but my father had it several times.

New year calls for a new obsession. Mine is to obsess about not getting obsessed.
