Unfortunately, I live in a small block of maisonettes. I've got the two ground floors on my side and the people above me also have two floors.
So have it installed on the roof where they can't see and have the coax routed down the exterior wall to your flat. The Discone has a small vusual footprint actually.

Any comments on what I've already bought, by the way? I did as much due diligence as possible, and I ended up more or less copying somebody else's setup I saw a pic of, but for all intents and purposes, I was buying blind.

As I say, I'm only after having a bit of fun. If it eventually develops into a full-blown hobby, then so be it, but I'm not really looking that far ahead.

All good choices mate, you should have fun. The antenna will be fine to start and you should be able to pick up loads.
