I've just bought the last guitar I shall ever buy, a Gibson USA 2019 Les Paul Junior Tribute DC, in Blue.
I've wanted one for quite a while, and I bid on this particular guitar last week but got outbid. Maybe not though. I got an offer from the seller, today, asking me if I'd like to buy for my previous maximum offer, because the guy who outbid me was, it seems, a timewaster. I wish I hadn't gone as high as I did now.
There are a couple of tiny "buckle rash" marks on the back, which the seller photographed and pointed out, otherwise it looks clean. No hard case, but it comes with a decent gig-bag.
I wanted a guitar that had a no-frills, back-to-basics ethos, but still retained a bit of class. and this was always going to be it.
Two pickups and a toggle switch for the neck - both - bridge switching, plus a single tone and single volume control. It's also blue, and I haven't got a blue one. :D Just kidding. The blue model was my preference, but it wasn't a deal-breaker, Worn Brown, Worn Ebony, or Worn Cherry would have sufficed.
With my arthritis getting worse, I'm not even sure I'll get any "proper" playing time out of it, and hence why it'll be my last guitar purchase, and I actually mean that this time.
She looks like this, and she'll be arriving on Friday, fingers crossed.
