After shedding a tear over our wonderful Queen's address I got all emotional and reflective.
Firstly, a big thanks to Slinger and Terry for the mostly unseen work they do to keep the forum cogs going round.
Thanks also to Paul and Tomasz for not only keeping HFS and NVA going but improving it along the way.
Thanks to everybody who has contributed. A forum is only as good as it's members and we have a collection of the best.
Last but not least thanks to Richard for giving us NVA and wonderful music. RIP.
On a personal note thanks to everybody who supported me emotionally through my troubles. Also thanks to those who helped me with my diy even if it was only an opinion. It means a lot to me.
Big thanks to everybody at HFS

Re: Big thanks to everybody at HFS
Don't sell yourself short, Stu. You do a great job, acting as a Moderator here, and the same goes for Lindsay, obviously. Last, but by NO means least, we should thank Fretless, our "other" Admin.
There really isn't a great deal of difference between Admins and Mods here. Everyone's voice gets heard, and everyone's point of view is respected. And then Savvy bullies the lot of us and does whatever he wants.
Oooops, sorry boss. Didn't mean to say that out loud. Please don't put me back in the "Now That's What I Call Xmas" room. I'll be good, I promise...
On behalf, of the "staff" Have a great Christmas Day, a better Boxing Day, and a vastly improved New Year, and thank you for sharing your love of music, and how it gets into your earholes.

Re: Big thanks to everybody at HFS
I have had very little moderation to do. Somebody else usually gets it done before I do. Not that there's much to do anyway, I've done bugger all really.

Re: Big thanks to everybody at HFS
Terry and Slinger do the work that keeps the forum up and running. Lindsay, Fret and Stu go out of their way to see that the forum runs in line with the stated ethos, and within the forum rules. They all let me think I get my own way

Just back in from an evening with family on the Dutch coast.
I would also like to say a big THANKYOU to everyone who joins in and contributes here for keeping HFS a fun, friendly and enjoyable place to drop in on.
(And for putting up with my interminable waffle and eccentric musical choices)

Re: Big thanks to everybody at HFS
When cycling round Holland on a pink bicycle in the late 90's I came across a jazz festival in Noordwijk on the North Sea coast Talk about a result. Stayed there all day listening to the live bands and drinking Heineken. Had a monstrous hangover the day after.Fretless wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 1:21 am Just back in from an evening with family on the Dutch coast.

And from me. Don't post much but read the posts most days. Keep it up everyone. It's a lovely part of my day - even when Stu ends up with COVID (get well soon bro).
