The joy of surveys

Whilst waiting for the ferry in Calais one year we were given a survey about our trip to France.

Which I filled in with the help of my children.

There was a question asking how much we'd spent in France during our trip. To which my children and I agreed that we'd put down 690,000 Euros. When the guy came to collect the survey, he actually looked at our answers and then starting asking us "So, you spent 690,000 Euros? Is that right?"
"Yes." I replied from the driver's seat of our 12 year old Volvo.

Anyway. There's a survey here where one of the options is to say that you've bought a new turntable in the last 10 years that cost over £30,000:

Looking at that, the most seem to spend around 3,000 pounds on a TT.

But there a 5 votes in the 30,000 and over-30,000 category!!!

Bizarre. :snooty:

I think it's perfectly normal to vote for over £30,000 in that turntable survey.

If I had £30,000 to spare I wouldn't buy a turntable!

I might buy one, but I'd still have at least £29,000 afterwards.

That's part of the joy of surveys...

They don't cost you anything, apart from your time. Which you might as well spend in an as amusing way as possible...
