Jeremy Corbyn: Why I’m Launching a Project for Peace and Justice

Let me preface this by saying that I don't expect many people to read my link, but I think it deserves to be seen. The article/interview is from Jacobin, which is a left-wing American magazine. I could only find one report in the British press, and that was in the Daily Mirror, and came across as a bit "parochial," and daft as perhaps it sounds, too political.

I've read this thorough and at least it asks decent questions and lets Corbyn answer them. I think it's more "honest" than the mainstream British press would/will ever be. I'm far too long in the tooth to call this *exciting* news, but I'm certainly looking forward to Jan 17th.

I do not intend to enter into any arguments about Jeremy Corbyn, nor do I feel the need to "defend" Jeremy Corbyn. I'm posting it because it sounds interesting, no matter what you think of the man.

Yes, obviously I'm biased, so with it as you will. I won't actually reprint it here but I'll post the link, the rest is up to you guys to read it, or not.

I'd be overjoyed if the comments were restricted to the article itself.
I'd also love a Gibson Collector's Choice #1A - The "Gary Moore" 1959 Les Paul, for Christmas.

Thanks, Paul. That's what I get for not testing a quick c&p job.

Can't argue with anything he said really.
I would question why so little was said about "antisemitism" in the Labour Party (sorry Slinger, I will go a bit off track here).

I don't think Corbyn is anti semitic, he has been clear in voicing concerns about the treatment of Palestinian people, which is fair enough in my view. If that is antisemitic then anyone who finds the land grabs and brutality of the Israeli state abhorrent is guilty of the same charges faced by Corbyn.
