advice
Having posted before re burst water tank and insurance claim, Fortunately sorted . with all the remedial work done, I was left with a small budget for my system. This led to the purchase of a s/h and excellent ap30 and longdog phono, and so to the question. I have just over £250/300 left and whilst I'm happy with everything I cant help but wonder if I could put it to good use? A while back I sold my aro and went back to basik lvx and mm cartridges for ease of use. I know still still using a lp12 is maybe frowned on ,however its not going to change as I cant afford it or want to. So, cables, tonearm, cartridge ? currently using at35 with paratrace stylus and goldring 1042gx. what do you think?

Re: advice
Thanks, been thinking about that, but I've come to the conclusion that I have to many already and space does not allow for much more. as much as I would like to.

Re: advice
Depending on which bearing you have you could try a second hand Tranquility magnet levitation thingy bob. Coming up on ebay for approx £200 as the new Karousel bearing is bigger and the tranquility won't fit.
Or you could try an after market top plate some of which allow the motor to be moved to the 7o'clock position - said to be an improvement. They come up new under budget on evilbay.
To be honest I like Tomasz' suggestion more though. Buy more music.

Re: advice
A DC motor for the LP12?
Otherwise, interconnects and speaker cables (depending on what you are using now).

Re: advice
Tomasz idea is what first came to mind, but space and without selling some unfortunately is not an option. As for the deck Pre curkus bearing 1983 deck. Have been thinking about the tranquillity thing. Using ssc from phono to ls1 and cubetts. At vm540ml would like to hear one as I like the At 95 paratrace I have now. I know It really isn't necessary, but I cant help being curious

Re: advice
Just moved back from Mc to mm and sold everything related off, unfortunately, wont be going back there. maybe DC motor could be something to think about(unsure) the only other linn upgrade I ever investigated was the curkus, didn't like it or the price.
