Buyer Beware!

Old Phono 2 for sale on ebay.

This is NOT the equivalent of the new £995 P2, that is implied in the ebay listing.

Not 240va supply (it will be 120va). Not Toroidy transformer. Not Vishay capacitors.

Would have originally retailed at £550 IF it was supplied at full price.

A fair price for a private sale would be around £300.

I looked at the listing, and to my mind the seller has not actually misrepresented the items.

I do, however, feel it's unfortunate that it's not made clear that the units are not actually to the current design, although the owner might not realise that.

The P50SA is advertised properly.

The A80 ad is OK, too, apart from a slightly off topic WAM thread about an earlier model.
