Just curious if anyone here is a fan of the Slee stuff?
Used to have a Novo Headphone Amp and thought it sounded decent.

Re: Graham Slee
Was it only Grado's you used with the Novo?
How did you find the Novo character/musically wise?

Re: Graham Slee
I’ve had a few Graham Slee phono stages. Really nice, but the Schit Mani is way better. It just keeps on impressing me.
It’s rubbish at MC though..... though I prefer the sound of good MM carts anyway. Thinking of getting a Magoaka MP500.

Re: Graham Slee
I have a Revelation C that I use for some pre 1970s recordings that require EQ adjustment...

Re: Graham Slee
I'm pretty sure I only used it with the Grados. I ended up swapping it out for a little one-man-band produced tube amp that Jerry discovered, and which I wouldn't say that was better, just different.southall-1998 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 11:12 pmWas it only Grado's you used with the Novo?

Re: Graham Slee
Deos anybody think the slees are better than nva.
You look around the forums and there all championing phono stages, all of which were beat in a bake off by nva (except long dog but boy is that expensive).
By the way if you get beat in a bake off, don't worry your mk2 or 3 will allow you to carry on.
