2020 will be a year no ones likely to forget for all the wrong reasons but on the bright side, is it just me or does anyone else think its been a cracking year so far for new albums :?:
I've been listening to some great stuff over the last few months, massive shame for the artists that they can't go out and tour as its such a vital part of their livelihood.

I heard Bob Dylan's new album '' rough and ready....'' last night, I was impressed, 3 absolute stunners on first hearing.
Also the Orielles have impressed, great production work and ideas on their latest album.

I'm looking forward to a wave of new music from artists who have had (enforced) time to work on new ideas. Might be that something great can emerge from the Corona lockdown.

I have no idea if I will be buying anything that comes out this year. Last album I bought that came out 27 March 2020 is Dua Lipa Future Nostalgia. I blame the kids for this but I really like it

I am not sure if this will be the case. As soon as things are safe bands will rather be on the road than in the studio as this is the only way they can make money in this day and age. I can also see ticket prices going up to compensate for lost revenue. If it is deemed safe to be in a recording studio and mass gatherings are still prohibited good new music could well emerge.
