Does this confuse anyone like it's kind of confused me?

"This is a rare NVA product. Not many were made and they are no longer manufactured. The unit connects between NVA pre and power amp and with the handset you can then adjust the volume from your armchair, a luxury not often enjoyed by NVA enthusiasts. The remote is for volume adjustment only, to switch source would still be done manually at the preamp. The unit is in immaculate condition." <---- what?

Hell's teeth!

NEVER seen that before, or heard of it. Cannot remember RD ever even referring to it. :o

One to add to your collection along with the NVA TT and CDP.

Never knew these existed. I wouldn't bother buying it if you were considering it. Why add more in to the signal path. KISS applies .

Tomasz does recall RD saying that someone once twisted his arm (and crossed his palm with silver) to build a remote control. He didn't like the result and vowed never to do it again, but the customer was happy. Can't say, for sure, if it's this one. Tomasz recalls it as an integrated amp, but he could be mistaken.

Only RCA out and single input. Looks like just a remote volume control.

Wonder if it is a motorised pot?

Interesting concept
I’m sure you could have chosen a better remote- a quick search on eBay reveals several options

Well there's another one to add to the collection of NVA oddities, asking £200 for a remote control is in my opinion crazy but with eBay you never know 😉

What power amp ? :-?

It looks like an NVA black perspex box with a remote volume control inside.

Nothing more.

Yep, just looked at the back, lol.

£200 does sound a bit strong for secondhand, then...
