Things you don't want to hear whilst laying in bed at half-past midnight, unable to sleep.

ME - "Alexa, what's the temperature.?"
ALEXA - "At the moment, it's 64 degrees. Tomorrow you can expect a high of 84 degrees."

What were you fishing for ? Genuine question from a fellow angler

St Brides, Newport, the upper region of the Bristol Channel. Huge strong tides and very murky water. The predominant species this time of year is Conger Eel, but there are also other including good Bass. Something decent sized jumped out of the water right in front of me which could well have been a Bass. Think it was taking the piss. :lol:

It went up to 37 in North Wales, smashing the Welsh record. A cool 33 here in Cardiff :lol: Ventured out the back garden when there was some shade late afternoon for a cold beer and some music. :guiness;

My eldest is in Derbyshire and she has lost power. Good thing she is working on her laptop but the broadband is really slow.

Thankfully a bit cooler now. Had thunder but only a few spots of rain so I had to water the garden again.
