It's time for EVERYONE to compromise...

'The Brexit' appears even more polarised than ever. If we are going to come out of this with some sort of national unity (and, in some cases, reconcile friends, and, even, families) then EVERYONE has to compromise.

So, what compromises are YOU going to make towards others that have different views to you?

I don't wish to re-run old arguments, so please no justification of your own Brexit position (said an eternal optimist  ).

Corbyn has always been anti-EU and is being urged to support remain. May was, at heart, a remainer tasked with steering the UK through leaving the EU. Johnson has positioned himself as so rabidly no-deal-leave oriented that he has even managed to alienate other leavers within his own party.

There are MPs in the house who supported leave but have constituencies who voted remain.

There are sitting MPs who voted remain but whose constituents voted to leave.

The House is not only split along party lines as usual but it's now further fragmented by leave and remain, and more than that, the different "flavours" of leave and remain. Customs union or not, deal or no deal, backstop or no backstop, extension or no extension, new deal, old deal... etc.

I don't understand why we haven't sorted things out by now.

Because no-one is willing to compromise...

Because it is not possible to leave the EU.

My compromise is to follow the complicated and expensive path of applying for Dutch nationality.

That way I get to keep my EU-citizen rights.

My compromise is honour the referendum and MPs to engage in meaningful discussion and not name calling. Otherwise lets have an election. Boris or Farage as PM will do me thanks. Whatever happens do not allow Corbyn to run the country and confiscate our property. It's all just a matter of respecting real democracy and not the version made up by deluded Parliamentarians. I trust the public to eject those MPs not fit to represent them.

That's a list of what you want. I cant spot the compromise.

Boris or Farage for PM?
Jesus wept!

I’ve had enough of the whole thing. They can shove Brexit up their collective arses for all I care.
Removing the Tories and the vermin that vote for them would be a good compromise to be going on with.
They and their nasty little supporters are everything that is wrong with this country.

If that labour scum get into power people should riot. After the negotiations with the Eu I am even more determined to separate the country from those unelected dictators. BTW I am the vermin that voted for them. Are you suggesting civil war?

So how are you going to compromise with each other?
