the recent posts from dsjr and and Steve the shadow have been some of the most interesting and informative posts that I have seen in quite a few years of reading forums.
Good to encourage it.

A thread by Alfi re "sole" and related, or even fatpopely re "audio flat" would be really interesting.

Anyone agree?

I'd like Alfi to have a go (and I haven't forgotten about the 'mushrooms' either sir, but a couple of recent massive (to me) bills to find funds for has totally wiped me out for the time being), as to how the Sole came into being and how it's developed.

Yes the Flatpopely could come on here and tell us how his Linn Saras are superb.

And it could also be just like his last ten visits when I asked him questions which he never acknowledged. Like a visit of the actual Pope to a Young Offender's Institute where the teenaged reprobates decide to ask His Holiness a series of impertinent questions.

Forget him, yesterdays man, he has nothing to offer any of us. When you make that much of an eeediot of yourself there is no way back.

I have a pair of Linn Sara 9's and love them they are not by any strech of the imagination accurate but they do make music very enjoyable to me .

If the Doc doesn't mind my rambling on about a rather tidy sub-chassis I developed for an LP12 on his forum I'll agree to it, but you'll have to wait a while for I'm quite busy at the moment and no worries Dave, I have plenty "In Soles" here.
