Well, their cd "Focus 11" is just out.

Its being praised on all the prog forums ." Better than "10"; their best in decades."

Sure these are exemplary musicians. And considering they must be in their 70s, its amazing wot they can still pull off.
And Van Leer has got back their outstanding origional drummer.

But...
but the problem is the composition.

I can only dig two tracks: the opener, "Who's Calling?" and "Mare Nostrum".

So that is three biggies in the last year making rather so-so cds: Brand X, Soft Machine, and now, Focus.

Do you have to use the C*******ers word in thread titles? It gets flagged in work as unsuitable by the web monitoring software.

For Missi that will be like him being asked not to breath. I could activate that forum wipe that converts all swearwords into stars, but that seems so artificial, and what is in a word, a word is just a word, it is us who makes it into something else.

Wot yews fink of the Focus albums of the last 5 years or so?
Focus 9 was said to be okay.

Anyone gots 2 CD collection “The Focus Family Album” 20 track set , 15 unreleased original songs, alternate versions from the Focus X sessions, solo tracks from each of the current members.

Here is a pwog tidbit that only a Progmasterman could know, yet on this occasion I spill it all here freely:

Give the track "Focus 3" a listen . Then tell me that they did not lift the melody from Petula Clark's "Don't Sleep In The Subway".
