I'm no lawyer but if this is with the police I'd stop trying to do anything and leave it with them and Richard. All we're going to do here is muck it all up. Just my 2p....

Hundreds of people have read the thread, it will be like a horse and door bolting thing. It may help someone who was thinking of buying it and stopping them as the stuff will be most likely seized by the police. Even if he gets a buyer.

Fingers crossed that the police have some success.

Had words with ebay it seems they have been informed the sale is fraud / stolen goods. So the listing may be taken down.

Good outcome  the guy has given the stuff up willingly to Essex Police and it is ATM sitting in the store room at Loughton Police Station waiting for me to collect it.

Watch out for some bargains lads. Ithi has bagged the Cube1s but there are Cube2 as well I will put up on fun auction. Statement amps I will keep for a bit, and probably the Phono Stage, we will see what else when we collect it.

I may now use the Statement amps at Wigwam show driving the proto Big Bastard Cubes.

Great result! I hope this is a lesson to numpty thieves that you can't shift bespoke specialist gear. I take it nobody has been charged with an offence or is that still under consideration?

No charges the guy bought it obviously off the thieves within a short time of the theft. He is a Turk who used to own a night club in Enfield, his tech told him the NVA would never do the job (correctly) so it just got shoved in storage. That is the story true or not. Club closed, he started a car dealership and is now selling up and moving back to Turkey, so all the stuff stored was put up at ebay, his other pro stuff on ebay is legit. The trail back to the thieves is now too cold the Police say, even if they find them.
