It's not as uncool as liking prog, but that's not saying much. For an old get like me, Shirley Bassey is unavoidably associated with shite variety programmes shown on the BBC on Saturday evenings when I was a nipper.

What got my attention was her cover of The Doors, light my fire. Pops up on a blue note break beats compilation that i have. I never liked it much until recently when i bypassed the anologue stage of my cdp. It let all the subtle information in her voice come across like never before.
I like Dolly Parton's early output as well. Big winds a comin'
I long since stopped bothering what image my taste in music put across to people i know. Prog ? Dont really know much about it but i am sure to like some of it
