Royd A7s

I have just discovered a pair of Royd A7s in a box in the loft . Problem is the crossovers and binding posts are missing . All the drivers are present and correct and the cabinets are in good nick . The crossovers for these are like hens teeth so I was wondering if they would be suitable for turning into home made Cubettes . Probably line the cabinet with steel or ceramic tiles .
Doc , can you advise me what value of cap I should be trying in the tweeters and if you think the drivers may need doped .
If I get a decent result I will probably go further up the NVA speaker range when I have upgraded my A20 to A40s to go with my P50sa .

3.3mfd to start. Full range to bass mid and listen, may be horrible then the ears take over - good learning process.

Are the Royd drivers doped- I used a set from Minstrels that are factory doped.
Check my post on diy cubes

Thanks Peter , I had a couple of pairs of Minstrels a while back and if I remember correctly , yes the drivers were doped . I'm going into the loft in a minute and can check the A7s . I knew there were a couple of threads on DIY cubes on the forum so thanks for the link .
Maybe just a bit of fun or something more serious if I get good results .

The drivers aren't original by the looks of things . Tweeters are original . I have cut ( botched (-: )the cabinets to size and lined some parts with ceramic tiles . Unfortunately my joinery skills are very much lacking )-: More to do tomorrow .

What do I use to dope the speakers Doc . Sorry I forgot

Rubber (normally synthetic) based glue is easiest, then spray with Plastidip.
