Well if you have a fuse holder and there is no fuse in it the leccytricity can't get into your hi-fi, it must just spill off the end of the fuseholder into the room until everyone there is electricoooted. You see they thought they were safe as long as no one talked about it

Fuses? Can't we find a subject with a bit of contention to it? I must confess to caring about fuses, though not of the "Audiofail" variety. If I have a plug apart I look at the fuse, check it's condition and if it's a bit Brad Pitt-y give the ends a clean with a Scotchbright before replacing it. I may also give the fuse holder a once over with contact cleaner if I see fit, reassemble and job done. The same applies to internal fuses should I have a cover popped off. I don't really see any point in anything beyond that and I guess the things I do may seem OTT to some.

So what would you do about fuses if you lived anywhere else in the world apart from the UK. Do they need to clean fuses and fuse holders, does their music suffer because they can't clean non existent fuses.

Anyone spending £90 on a fuse is just being con-fused.

Electric Shock Treatment - perhaps it would help them if they put themselves in the socket instead of a fuse.

It would be interesting to experience a bake-around with an ‘I hear this fuse’ and say 5 others. A refreshing change from this solo experience we have to hear about.

But would that make any difference?

A "night and day" fuse, is that the one that glows in the dark. They are normally referred to as Light Bulbs, at least they serve a purpose.
