And protopunk was the next evolution step after/beside psychedelic. So you could be interested!

At that time it was basic hard rock, the term punk was invented later.

So I start to answer my own questions, then at least I know that they were the right ones! Something to do with an Australian Band, influencing a lot of further Australian musicians? Yes!
