F1 the circus starts again
BORING! and it it seems to get more so every year. Once again the essence of something we love has been commercialised (slurped) beyond my level of acceptance.

+2 but it still sucks me in, although I will watch it on Channel 4 live and second hand rather than pay sky anything.

Rupert Murdoch will soon die, I wonder if sky will still be evil. Hosting f1 is one of the few things sky sports does wrong.

Jesus Christ let me bring some balance to this thread.
Have been waiting age for the Oz GP to come around I don't even mind the 'halo'
It wasn't that much better back then........

WHAT! Fangio and Moss with real cars and engines compared with the tarted up pricks pretending to drive computers around a track now-a-days. It would be more honest if they sat at computer games.

Re: F1 the circus starts again
The old audience is largely gone. For me it was when computers took over from the driving skills, now they have to do something stooopid, and they still do it to crash them. Artificial acceleration, artificial braking, artificial sound, all to sell advertising, can no longer be considered a sport. I am getting interested (a little) in the electric one, that probably represents the real future for the sport, not there yet, needs more and different manufacturers drive system and variety.
Oh and Le Mans, that still has some magic.

Get them to drive round the old Nurburgring circuit.
In reality it's too dangerous for modern F1 racing.
It would be interesting for each F1 driver to do a timed lap (on their own) of the full Nurburgring circuit and see who could master it.
