I've been using little old skool 90's Sony Walkman ear buds/phones for years but have been considering upgrading. These things serve me well and still deliver decent detailed sound when plugged into a phone or laptop/mp3 player, with a decent low end. I've listened to a current Sony model and they sounded weedy compared to mine.

Any suggestions as to little bud ear phones that don't have to be screwed into the ear canal ? I've seen the HiFiMAN ES100 Compact Earphones and they look good but have no idea if they'll deliver the goods. What kind do you guys use ?

Yuin PK2 are excellent little buds with a Grado-style sound.
Can be ordered from China or from Amazon,

If you have a "bigger ear hole" ( like most plp)
then this

if you are like me with a slightly smaller ear "hole" or whats it called ear bud triangle
then this would be perfect

BTW heard HiFiMAN ES100 and those are good even really good
but I found VE to be right where I like them tuning wise

Thanks for the links. I'd not heard of those brands before.
There's a set of Sennheiser MX 365 for under £15 on amazon that I'm leaning towards but have never heard sennheiser earphones before. Yes my budget is slim for these !
