Good list Joe. I was thinking about that era - might have a go at 79-80 later.

Re: Ten good songs
I could narrow that to one album, Misplaced Childhood - Marillion,Simon Hickie wrote:Now here's a challenge. How about 10 from a specific year?
10 cracking songs from 1985's album of the year.

Good list Joe, could you squeeze 'Psycho Killer' - Talking Heads in your list for 77,
if so what would you take out, don't say 'i feel love', absolutely love that.

Yes, definitely! I can leave out the Tom Robinson track, as it's already on DQ's list.wiicrackpot wrote:Good list Joe, could you squeeze 'Psycho Killer' - Talking Heads in your list for 77,

Re: Ten good songs
It's 1980
The Cure - 'A Forest'
Siouxsie & the Banshees - 'Christine'
OMD - 'Enola Gay'
Joy Division - 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'
The Teardrop Explodes - 'Treason'
Gang of Four - 'At Home He's A Tourist'
Punishment of Luxury - 'Laughing Academy'
The Comsat Angels - 'Independence Day'
Fischer-Z - 'Crazy Girl'
Echo & the Bunnymen - 'A Promise'
Looks like I spent most of my time listening to the Peel Show.
