FFS!

So the 8000Ms I paid £700 for in November just sold for £421. Taking into account eBay and PayPal fees, I am going to be lucky to end up with £350. That's fucking bullshit. Not happy at all.

And the 8000A I paid £230 for in November just went for £160. Either I was ripped off to start with, or I have been unlucky on eBay, but I am feeling pretty fucking fucked off right now.

Auctions are always a risk. The current fav seems to be buy it now / make me an offer.

That's life George,we have all been there,.Stick with NVA,and if you don't like it ,sell it back to Richard for the same money.There are only a few makers that i have got my money back on ebay.NVA,Beresford and Nico soundlabs and they are all direct sellers.Put it down to experience mate. :doh:

The old Monitor Audio Silver 5is went for £81. We've had them for at least 4 years and they only cost me £129 on eBay back then, so that's not too bad at all.

With a move to NVA increasingly becoming likely for me since my recent P50/A40 home demo, I've been looking at how much I could claw back from my existing kit (Creek) and have been following certain items on Ebay to get an idea. I've been quite disheartened that kit I anticipated was worth a certain amount is going for nowhere near as much as I thought.
