Mine is ribs of beef, normally have goose or duck but fancied a change.

In most of Europe there is a tradition you must have a fish dish as well, mostly baked carp or further east baked sturgeon. Which gets decorated https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=baked ... 66&bih=653

Turkey stuffed with duck - hoping the duck will moisten/baste the turkey.

Mind you I quite fancy the rib of beef (and the pork), in fact I have started salivating - must go and get a snack.

That will explain the number of eastern Europeans hanging around at our local reservoir then!

Homemade Scotch Broth.
Chicken, mealie puddings, roast tatties, parsnips/brussles/neeps n carrots lashings of gravy.
Sherry tricle.

And bloody good Dram or twa..... :lol:

I much prefer Chicken to a Turkey......I find Turkey vvery dry.

BTW my ribs are 30 day dry hung Aberdeen Angus (from Waitrose) yum yum yum num yum yum yum yum num yum.......................................................
