The Duals are underated Prog, they don't look impressive but are well engineered. Personally I would avoid their belt drives especially the cheap 505, but their direct drives are very good and their top old idler drives are up there with the L75.

The arms are a little limited and have that slide in cartridge mount thingy. I think some of the belters are sort of hybrid idler with a toothed belt. I have a 506 inherited which I will have to service at some stage and bring into use. Not even close to a GL75 or Thorens 160 in SQ from memory.

In true Prog fashion i am growing closer to doing a Keith Emerson on the 1210. I can see it being sold off in bits. F.....g sick of it!!!!!!!

The 1210 has been too bigged up by Marco and company to have any cred left with me. Wise Move.

Your post appeared in between while I was writing. My reply was to Prog not you Rocky. I will edit it to show that.

Oh FFS, your post, why should I ask you to repeat a Rocky post. Saying you are thinking of breaking your 1210 for spares to sell would create a really fun thread at AoS and maybe even some customers for the bits
