Is there anyone here involved with fund raising and could advise me on raising funds for a venture? Please pm me if you have the necessary skill and can offer guidence or even assistance. :epop:

The answer to any business is positive cash flow (and of course an acceptable profit margin). So it depends if the project is something tangible like a bit of hi-fi, or conceptual and intangible how you manage this.

But I can think of a hundred better, more worthwhile events/causes to raise funds for than progs fukin jolly.

Get in touch with Kev Jager of Prognosys mate, I think he's involved with booking stuff at the Queen Vic (formerly the office).

Doubtless you'd get your venue for nowt if it brings crowds spending on beer.... Couple of hundred for Colin Smoult to do sound and lights, then a case of booking your bands and flogging enough tickets.

They've got Lifesigns coming up in Jan I see and the progs are playing a support slot so there's an appetite for it. Just a suggestion mate.
