Re: What speakers have you owned ?
Fair enough, I can't talk I've had two pairs of the damn things
My first pair were active but I converted them back to passive, there is a treble adjustment jumper on the crossover but I can't remember where mine were set. They also had the upgraded "3-bar tweeter" & Ku-stone bases... Sounded pretty nice. The second pair used the mesh style tweeter & didn't have Ku-stone bases, man they sounded poor.

Loads of stuff, but Shahinian Arc's the best by far. Played great classical, rock, Eminem... everything.
Primare CD22. Primare DAB/FM radio. SSP to NVA AP70 and AP10H(JS) with Denon AH-D7100's. LS5 to Cube2's.

Re: What speakers have you owned ?
That tweeter with mesh should have been stillborn. The version with bars was so much smoother and clearer. Not a huge issue with Keilidh's as the bass could dominate everything else (Ku-Stone stands essential IMO), but Kabers were a different noisebox altogetheristari_knight wrote:Fair enough, I can't talk I've had two pairs of the damn things

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Re: What speakers have you owned ?
I have lived with my original edition Arcam Ones for 30 Years. never wanted anything else until I heard the Magnepan MMG that is now in my main system. Now messing about with Mission 760i.
Heard a demo pair of NVA Cubes back inthe 80's and have never forgotten the impression they made. Still the only speaker I hope to be able to get, one day.

Re: What speakers have you owned ?
Kazam has a pair of those mk1 Cube 1s (sans grills which I can supply if wanted) I think he wants to sell, PM him, they are cheap for what they are. Far less than the new ones.Fretless wrote:I have lived with my original edition Arcam Ones for 30 Years. never wanted anything else until I heard the Magnepan MMG that is now in my main system. Re: What speakers have you owned ?
Sorely tempted Doc. But my current listening room is tiny, and I doubt that It can do justice to the Cubes acoustics.
