The great thing about World Cup Football is watching matches like Portugal vs Spain last night.
And then having a little laugh about Iran topping their group table now. Which is like Huddersfield being top of the Premier League after the first day of the season, August 2017.

Had a bet on Spain drawing with Portugal last night. If England draw with Tunisia it will complete a nice double.

I had a bet on spain winning. At the start of the game and again when they went 1-0 down.

I bet on Spain winning the 2010 World Cup after they lost the first game against Switzerland. Got good odds.

Putin will make sure if Russia gets anywhere near winning this there will be drugs, bad ones for the opponents (probably banned chemical weapons) good enhancer drugs for his own players, plus massive bribery for the officials, if that doesn't work the opponents top player will be shot while siteseeing before the final on a bridge over the Moscow River outside the Kremlin (now who had that done to them I wonder) - remember this is Russia, it is not a *normal* part of the world.
And if they don't win the plane carrying the victorious team back home will be shot down over Ukraine by a Russian BUK missile, and they will blame it on aliens.
We should not forget the past and the present with this man, lets face it he bought the ability by bribery to be able to hold the event.

I'm liking this World Cup so far. Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Holland. None of them have won so far.
