For Christmas the missus and I are buying a new telly instead of buying each other individual gifts. I did my usual due diligence and decided on another LG, from Currys. They had none of the model we want in stock, but they had re-ordered and had another 75 coming in on Friday. Apparently we're only 59th on the list so we should get it in time for Christmas. Now bear in mind that this a £1,300 telly and this is only one branch of Currys. They've sold out of one batch that we know about and have sold over seventy five grand's worth of the new batch before they even arrive. Who says there's no money about?
