Probably just as well im happy with my bog standard 1210 techie.......Obviously bettered but bloody fine none the less.

Better than a PL71? I'd say so - but not by a big margin, it still retained the Pioneer's wonderful knack of not sounding like it was trying too hard and like the PL71 it was just so darn listenable
Staggeringly well built too - the motor/bearing assy is huge.

Difficult because very few people have experience of them so not a lot of gossip, gromit is the most vociferous proponent. I would personally let gromit buy it and then buy his PL71 off him.
