Probably just as well im happy with my bog standard 1210 techie.......Obviously bettered but bloody fine none the less. :dance:

PL71 at £500 bargain.

Better than a PL71? I'd say so - but not by a big margin, it still retained the Pioneer's wonderful knack of not sounding like it was trying too hard and like the PL71 it was just so darn listenable

Staggeringly well built too - the motor/bearing assy is huge.

Another one to add to the watchlist...

I'm trying to compile a list of about 3 to 5 great direct drive TTs to hunt for.
My Kit – I moved to home theatre setup sorry...Denon SR7011, Anthony Gallo A'Diva SE Fronts, SpeakerCraft Profile AIM LCR3 One Rears, BK Electronics XLS200-DF MK2 Sub, Epson Projection.

But I would love a cheeky little AP10, AP20 sort of amp for a bedroom setup...

WHAAAT? I can't believe I bought it just ~4 months ago for over 2x less. That was definitely a good move ;)

How much do you think the Sony PS-6750 is worth?

Difficult because very few people have experience of them so not a lot of gossip, gromit is the most vociferous proponent. I would personally let gromit buy it and then buy his PL71 off him.
