Its the Statement phono stage - 4 x 500va PSU built in Statement type box as used below TFS and amps, feeding the standard NVA phono stage as use in Phono1 and 2 but with some component upgrades. Four gain stages each fed by separate PSU. Looks like the TCS without the knobs. It can also be built into the TCS as I am doing for applemarc which save a couple of hundred quid.zebbo wrote:T.A.S. I must tell my father about this. He is thinking about getting a better Phono Stage. Be nice to see a pic of this beast...

Nope - the clue is in his name, he is an Apple man, the TFS is a PC.29mile wrote:Does Marc have a TFS btw ? If so full house with the ultimate statement STATEMENT system ie TAS TCS TDS's SSP LS7 ................

Sorry guy's the thought of having a PC in the house let alone in my listening room just makes me feel ill. I don’t really listen to CD’s and try to avoid digital music as much as possible I will admit to playing cd’s whilst burning in my TDS’s but I was in my office working and could just hear it as background music.

This is what data I have on the cartridge
• Output volts: 0.3 mV
• Frequency response: 20-100,000 Hz
• Channel balance at 1 kHz: Better than 0.5 dB
• Channel separation at 1 kHz: Better than 25 dB
• Inner impedance: 5 Ohm
• Recommeded impedance: 30 Ohm
