ICON II 'Rubicon'
John Wetton and Geoff Downes started a side-project called ICON which was for them both a chance to stretch out musically and follow their muse. In this formation they released 3 studio albums.
ICON is about songwriting and performance - it's not the pomp-rock of Asia but a mellower approach. John Wetton's voice is allowed to shine over tasteful orchestra and keyboard-based arrangements.
