Re: Your last listen
I know I've got all his albums on vinyl. Hell, I'm such a Gabriel nut I have 5 CDs worth of the stuff he didn't put on albums, gathered from, erm, sources...Daniel Quinn wrote:Peter Gabriel Us - its a mighty fine album and I glad i had the foresight to buy 2 copies when it came out . Have you seen the price of pg's albums on vinyl after but not including So!!
p.s if anybody as Up on vinyl and they dont want it I'll give you £30 for it . before you agree , its only fair of me to tell you to look on google and see how this album goes for . :D

Re: Your last listen
Theo , you are a man of taste . If i went on desert island disks I've had 10 Gabriel compositions .
I take it you dont want to sell your copy of UP for £30
I bet Mr Gabriel's voice sounds thick and fruity in that big room and those Jamo's . It's time I renewed my request for all you bloody southerners to move up north :D

Re: Your last listen
You might like William Orbit. He does rather cool "electronic" versions of some well known classics. I can recommend his "Pieces in a Modern Style" and Pieces in a Modern Style 2 is now out, although I haven't purchased it yet.Sovereign wrote:Great album!
