One of the more interesting progressive rock bands and one of my all time favorite albums

I brought this album along to one of Savvy's bake-offs, surprised its made an appearance here as its both old and quite obscure. Recently remastered and re-released on CD, prefer the vinyl as the latest version sounds a bit cold and mechanical.

I'm glad you wrote this. I agree. The vinyl copy I had sounded a lot different. Unfortunately I don't have a record player any more.
There are a few albums I have on CD/file that just don't give the same enjoyment level as the vinyl versions. Strangely, Bop Till You Drop by Ry Cooder is one of these albums. Given it was one of the first digitally recorded albums one would expect it to sound just as good on CD.

The Cure - Mixed Up. Some great remixes of Cure Classics on this. Outstanding!

Cocksucker:
"Things To Come" is better lp than "PsiFi".

Best yet is pre-Seventh Wave band , Second Hand. Their second lp, "Death will be Your Santa Claus" rules yer ass. Its like Arthur Brown Kingdom Come!
