That is very similar to the Atacama board I have had under the P3 for donkeys years, it made auch a big difference then that I've nver felt the need to try anything else. It was cheap at the time as well. It's certainly not Bamboo though, ptobably MDF ata guess.

Bamboo - hmm, may have to give it a try in the autumn.

Today's tweak: got a set of Hudson HiFi Bigfoot isolation feet and put them under the marble terrace slab, replacing the rubber washing-machine anti-vibration feet.

The Bigfoot stands are taller and made of a sort of silicone. Soundwise the bass is more direct and fuller, imaging has increased 3D presence and sharper-edges with instruments floating tangibly in space.

Interesting, and another step forward.
