Mark Grant now has a nicely made and finished Pi-Supply rated at 5V - 6V 3A, which should be enough...

I use an S-Booster on the Caiman supply which powers part of the Ton-Up Digit Opto and I thought it made a beneficial difference.

Price is £195.

When I started this my questions were Does a decent power supply improve the sound of the Pi? And ,if so, does powering the DAC and Pi separately (as with the TFS) improve the sound. I've built a PSU of sorts which does seem to improve the sound a bit, but I got stuck trying to power the pi and the DAC separately.

I'd be interested in a Pi and HiFiBerry but only if it could fit nicely into one of docs cases with a doc power supply!

There is a black perspex casing available for the Pi / Hifiberry combo. Perfect match to NVA cosmetically.

As for a PSU - you'll have to ask nicely.
