Well I have it now so I just need to get an interconnect cable and decide what cartridge I should use when I compare the two turntables. I will use the same cartridge in both so I can get like for like.

You will need an earth wire as well as an interconnect.

Can I use sound cord and a bit of earth cable

Does it run on speed?

I checked it before I handed over the cash and it looked as if it did I have a dem on how to adjust the speed it looks ok

Well that is the normal age problem with them when the speed farts about a bit. It means the switch relays need replacing, its a standard Maplin part and easy to fit if it gets a bit wobbly.
